If a phone looks good and its camera performs well, I’m inclined to take it seriously. However, there’s more to a phone than just aesthetics and photography capabilities.
I recently had the chance to test the vivo X200 FE, and naturally, my first step was to evaluate its camera. I was genuinely impressed by the clarity, especially when zooming in on subjects. Let me outline the top three aspects that have caught my attention so far with this new release.
The vivo X200 FE boasts a compact design that delivers powerful performance. As someone who frequently attends events and works online, I need a device that can keep up with my lifestyle. This phone has proven to be an excellent fit. The 6.31-inch sleek flat-screen design is perfect for those who prefer something not too bulky. The lightweight grip makes it easy to carry around without adding extra weight to my daily routine.
After using the phone for a week, I can confirm that its size and weight offer great convenience. I’ve taken it on errands and to work, easily slipping it into my pocket or bag without any hassle. Whether typing, watching videos, or taking photos, the lightweight body is comfortable to hold and easy to use one-handed.

As the first compact flagship in the X series, the X200 FE offers a sleek design and appealing color options. It comes in Blue Breeze, a fresh and calming light blue, and Black Luxe, which embodies classic elegance.
In addition to being light and comfortable, the phone is equipped with a ZEISS Master Display that can reach a high brightness mode of 5000 nits and 460 pixels per inch display. Powered by ZEISS, this new addition supports five focal lengths, each offering a unique style, feel, and purpose. These include a 23 millimeters (mm) focal length for environmental storytelling, 50 mm for authentic texture, and 85 mm for capturing emotional tension.
As technology continues to evolve, vivo consistently innovates and adapts. The brand has equipped the X200 FE with AI Image Studio, featuring AI Image Expander, which intelligently extends images while preserving original content. It’s ideal for photos where the subject is partially cut off or not fully captured.
Another smart feature is AI Magic Move, allowing users to select the subject, drag, and resize as desired. Meanwhile, AI Reflection Erase accurately detects and removes unwanted reflections on glass windows or important documents like passports.

Unveiling the vivo X200 FE
At the recent launch event of the vivo X200 FE, vivo ambassador Alden Richards was among the first to try the brand’s newest release. Sharing his experience, the actor described the device as “portable.” He praised its easy grip, compact design, impressive camera, and battery performance.
Richards explained that with the rapid pace of tech innovation, manufacturers often pack numerous features into one device, resulting in larger or bulkier phones that can compromise convenience and everyday usability. He noted that the larger the phone, the more hassle it is to carry, especially when commuting.
As an actor, Richards appreciated the X200 FE not only for its portability but also its long-lasting battery life, which kept up with his demanding schedule. He shared his thoughts on the phone’s powerful imaging capabilities, particularly its camera’s ability to zoom up to 100x. He mentioned how useful this feature could be, especially during concerts, allowing for special moments to be well-documented with clarity.
To keep the energy high, Filipino boy band Hori7on performed their song “Six7een” and a fresh remake of the Original Pilipino Music classic “Sumayaw, Sumunod.”
As part of vivo’s product launch event tradition, vivo Vice President for Sales Hazel Bascon announced the price of the X200 FE. The phone, featuring 12 gigabyte (GB) RAM + 512 GB read-only memory (ROM), is priced at P44,999. Customers who preordered until July 25, 2025 would receive over P12,000 worth of exclusive freebies.
